Description
A Parisian couture atelier receives an extraordinary order: to create a wedding dress in the utmost secrecy for a huge royal wedding. Around thirty men and women tirelessly work in the shadows in France and India to fulfil the order.
After moving us with Saigon and Valentina the director of the Théâtre national de Strasbourg, Caroline Guiela Nguyen, is coming back to the Lliure with this choral story about colonialism that gives a voice to those working in the shadows in the global world of luxury goods.
From a great creator, a great story that has travelled around the world since it premiered at Vienna’s Festwochen in 2025.
